# Winner Variations: More Control, More Automation!

We’ve just rolled out an exciting update to help you manage your test results with more precision and flexibility—introducing **Auto-set Winner Variations**! 🙌

This improvement gives you greater control over how and when your winning variation is applied, all while keeping your content optimized during every stage of the test.

## ✨ What’s New?

Previously, the system would wait two full days before setting a winner to let the data settle. While this approach works for many, we heard your feedback—sometimes, you want **more control**, or even **faster decisions**.

With this update, **you decide what happens during that waiting period**.

## 🔹 How It Works

Our **Winner Based on Metrics** feature still picks the best-performing variation once enough data is collected. But now, you get to customize what’s shown in the meantime!

Here’s what’s new in **Advanced Options**:

## 🎯 Your Options

✅ **Set a temporary winner while the test is still running**  
You can choose to display a specific variation (e.g., the original) during the data collection phase.

✅ **Pick a final winner based on your key metric**  
Once your test completes, we’ll automatically apply the best-performing variation based on your selected metric.

✅ **Use both options for full control**  
Set a temporary fallback AND let the system finalize the best option later—smart automation + peace of mind!
